Investigating
It appears that some quizzes in Canvas do not load properly when they are set to use Respondus Lockdown Browser (and Monitor).
You will see the following information when trying to launch the Quiz in Lockdown Browser:

Page failed to load.

Error: (-105)
ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED

Specifically, this is impacting "New Quizzes" in Canvas.
