Update - Kaltura's major infrastructure issues appear to be mainly resolved. https://status.kaltura.com
We are seeing video processing times that reflect the times we experienced during product testing.

We are still working on a Moodle specific issue causing difficulties embedding a video in a Kaltura Video Resource, or with a Description field's text editor. We are working on these issues with Kaltura and our Moodle support provider.

Update - Kaltura's migration to AWS remains ongoing. To view their progress, you can view their status page. https://status.kaltura.com

Video processing has been improving daily, but we're still seeing delays in our content processing. While on a call with Kaltura's CIO and CEO, with 170 other customers, Kaltura mentioned they should have their issues resolved in the next few days. During our testing before the school year started, an hour long video would process about 5 minutes after the content started copying to Kaltura. We're seeing times up to 4 or 5 hours, with the delays Kaltura is experiencing.

Identified - Kaltura's ingestion and processing of Zoom content is working in a deprecated state. This has increased the processing time of some of the recordings and videos that are automatically pulled into Kaltura/Moodle, like Zoom meeting recordings.

Kaltura is also experiencing issues related to their API, which cause intermittent issues accessing Kaltura content via Moodle. (Generally a page refresh allows the user to access the content they've requested)

Both of these issues are the result of Kaltura's decision to migrate systems to AWS. They are actively working on the issues the migration has caused.

Resolved - We have resolved the remaining issue with the print server. All print services are now available.

Update - We've restored the significant amount of printing capabilities. Students can print by emailing a document to printthis@snc.edu, then release on a printer. Employees can print via the file/print method. Other lesser used methods of printing are not yet available. We'll have access to our vendor tomorrow, when we expect to finish up.

(Note that due to Google shutting down their Cloud Print product, this option is no longer available.)

Investigating - Due to some ongoing work on our print servers, we had to perform a last minute restart and configuration update at about 4:45pm. During this time, printing services are not available. We expect this to be resolved in the next hour or so.
